SC Logarithmic Services SRL Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from https://www.logarithmic.com (the “Site”).

GEO BY LOGARITHMIC

This section covers GEO by Logarithmic, the hosted MCP server at https://geo-mcp.logarithmic.com that you use from ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants. How to connect: GEO by Logarithmic docs.

What we collect

Account: a random account id, your username, a salted scrypt hash of your password (never the password itself) and the creation time. We ask for no email address, name or phone number.
Connections: for each app you allow, a grant naming your account id, the app's client id and the scope geo. Access tokens, refresh tokens and authorization codes are stored only as hashes.
Audits: the site you audit, the pages fetched from it, the evidence, your submitted judgments, the report and PDFs, and the contact email you choose to print on a PDF (optional).
Usage events: tool names, timings, audit ids and audited domains, without your account id.
Network address: counted for rate limiting and to stop password guessing. Logs never contain passwords or tokens.

We do not collect your chat history, your AI provider account or API keys, payment data or precise location. Your own AI assistant performs the analysis.

Purposes

Running the audits you request, producing your report and PDF, keeping your account and connections working, and preventing abuse.

Recipients

Cloudflare: hosting and storage, as our processor.
PostHog: usage analytics, only when analytics is enabled in our server configuration. It receives allowlisted event fields, with audited domains hashed and no person profile. TODO: verify whether analytics is active in the deployed server and PostHog's retention period.
Wikipedia and Wikidata public APIs receive the brand name being checked.
The audited website receives our crawler's requests.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Retention

Accounts and audits: kept until you ask us to delete them.
Usage events: only the most recent 200,000 events are kept.
Rate limiting: requests are counted per network address in 60-second windows (120 requests, or 10 sign-in attempts).
Connections: access tokens last 1 hour and authorization codes 10 minutes. A connection expires 30 days after you sign in, and you sign in again after that. App registrations that go unused expire after 90 days.
Logs: TODO: log retention period not yet specified.

Your rights and controls

Only your account can list or open your audits. To delete your account, its connections and its audits, email office@logarithmic.com from any address and give your username. We may ask you to sign in to prove control of the account. There is no password reset: we cannot recover an account whose password is lost.

Audits started before sign-in existed were filed under an unverified email address. No account can see them. To have one deleted or attached to your account, email us; we act only when we can verify the request.

Under the GDPR you may access, correct or erase your data, object to its processing, and complain to the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

JOB APPLICATION DATA PRIVACY

Following your application for open positions at SC Logarithmic Services SRL, you agree that our company will process your data as follows:
Name, First Name, Phone Number, Email Address, and other information available in your CV.

We also want to inform you that your CV will be placed on our internal database and will be held for a period of 12 months, during which time our HR department can contact you if our positions are re-open. You can delete your CV from our database at any time with a notification accompanied by your contact details at office@logarithmic.com .

The above-mentioned data will only be processed in order to establish an interview, our internal database will not be published, sold or transferred. Anyone else except the HR department or the company's founders will not have access to it.

According to (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), you have the right to access, to interfere with the data and the right to appeal to the court.

At the same time, you have the right to oppose the processing of your personal data that concerns you and ask you to delete the data.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ?

When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Please note that we do not alter our Site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

DATA RETENTION

When you submit a form through the Site, we will maintain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
